I don’t know if it’s because they have an Instagrammable neon “chill sign,” or just their overall store is Instagrammable, I found myself in Downtown Manhattan again but this time at Chillhouse. In case you haven’t seen their Instagrammable chill sign throughout Instagram, Chillhouse is not only a coffee shop but it’s truly the definition of what chill means aka a place that offers manicures, pedicures, and a custom massage experience.
Unfortunately, because I was short on time and I had already gotten my nails done for the week, I decided to give their nitro cold brew aka 1-800-Chill-Liquid a try:
Sometimes cold brews can get quite bitter even with a hint of milk but at Chillhouse, their coffee actually tastes quite refreshing. And note to readers, the best way to dictate whether a restaurant or coffee shop has good food/coffee is by trying a standard drink/menu item that most places in the same industry and field serve. For instance, at Chillhouse, cold brew is the universal drink coffee shops serve, which is the perfect way to dictate if the majority of their coffee will taste good just like if you’re at an American/Modern American cuisines, Tuna Tartare is the perfect reference and so on. Whenever you need to unwind and escape from the concrete jungle or need a nice cold brew, Chillhouse is the perfect place that’ll meet your needs. Share with me in my inbox or Instagram what your favorite coffee shop is in NYC and the Tristate area!
