When it comes to food, I’m more of a sit and dine type as opposed to walking to and from booths placing orders and looking for a seat to sit. Though once I discovered Urbanspace Vanderbilt, I found myself there most of my summer internship and whenever I was able to make time and wanted a quick bite.
Urbanspace Vanderbilt lives right next to Grand Central which makes it a whole lot easier to get to for me because I’m always at Grand Central whether it’s coming into New York City or heading home from New York City.
Although there are so many vendors at Urbanspace Vanderbilt, I still have found myself having been to only three: Hai Kitchen, Kuro-Obi, Roberta’s. Though I can’t say all three are my favorite … but here are some of my thoughts about them:

Hai Kitchen
Hai Kitchen to me when I first tried it at Urbanspace Vanderbilt was the start of the trend of“sushi burritos” in New York City. I’m not gonna say it was bad nor good, but my fish tasted fishy …

Kuro-Obi
I haven’t been to Ippudo in so long but my last impression wasn’t bad and Kuro-Obi is pretty good. As much as I wish their appetizers are available during lunch hour as well, nevertheless it’s definitely my go-to place when I want something warm especially with these cold temperatures.

Roberta’s
As it may sound so basic to say that I LOVE pizza but when it comes to Roberta’s, how can you not love it? Especially I am such a meat eater and they are able to make vegetarian friendly pizza’s taste just as good. I’m mindblown.

It definitely is one of my goals this year (new year’s resolutions anyone?) to try all or at least more than the three I have at Urbanspace Vanderbilt. Though there are a lot and I mean A LOT that I would still need to try. Let me know your thoughts about Urbanspace Vanderbilt and your favorite vendors there or vendors you would like to try. Happy Wednesday!
